Play War!

War is mainly a children's game because it's very easy to learn and you don't have to use too much strategy when you play it.
The aim of the game is very simple. All you have to do is to recognize which of the two cards that are "at war" is higher in rank and then to follow the procedure of the game.

The Game

The basic game of war is aimed for two players. The game uses a standard 52 card deck. Aces can be high or low, depends on what the players decided before the game.
The game starts when each player is dealt with half of the deck.
Both players show one card from their own cards simultaneously. The player who has the higher card takes both cards to his own deck.
If there is a tie, both players place three face-down cards on the table and another face-up card. The player with the higher face-up card takes all the cards. If there is another tie on those face-up cards, the process is repeated until there's a winner. Before the player who won the tie takes the cards, he must expose all the cards that he takes to his own deck.
The player who stays without cards loses the game. There is also a different variation in which the player who gets rid of his cards the first is the winner of the game.

War for multiple players

The game can be played by three, four or even more players too. The rules are just the same. Each one of the players receives an equal number of cards and everyone play simultaneously. The player with the highest card takes all the cards.
The game continues until all the players lose all their cards and drop out except for one player who is the winner of this game.
