The online gambling ban was signed into law just over 2 weeks ago, and before the law is even being enforced thousands of petitions and protest are being organized around the country, but the most original one I have seen is from a man from a small town in Pennsylvania.
His name is Jim Nickogoski, and he is the creator of the Angry Online Gambler myspace page and petition to reverse the new gambling ban.
Jim is a 31 year old handy man who just started playing poker less then a year ago, and was really enjoying it; he said "nothing beats coming home after a hard day of working in the sun during the summer and the snow in the winter, a good shower, and a few rounds of poker online. I think what I love most about online gambling is the fact that the tons I live in is so small that it is very hard to get a game together, but online there is always someone looking to play."
Besides the petition the page offers a blog about why the online gambling ban is unjust and wrong for the country, as well as a place to place comments and grips you wish to share.
Jim is also working on a section where people can coordinate for rallies or letter writing campaigns to try to reverse the online gambling ban.
