A group of citizens who are opposing the proposed Pocono Manor resort and casino dispute the claims of the Pocono Manor owner about how much money the workers in the casino will earn.
The No Casino Tobyhanna Township (NCTT) are saying that the economic impact that the owners of casino resort are predicting is not realistic. Greg Matzel, the owner of Pocono Manor submitted a report to the state Gaming Control Board, but the NCTT are saying that the mathematical terminology that Pocono Manor is using is misleading.

Pocono Manor's application will be discussed at a public hearing on Thursday, April 27 in Lake Harmony. Both Pocono Manor and NCTT have websites with online petitions supporting their sides available for download.

Ben Eckerson, Pocono Manor spokesman said that they are sensitive to the concerns raised by members of the community, however their data was compiled using specific methodologies by the world's leading gaming analyst- Spectrum Gaming Group.
