According to a recent survey that was held in the UK, players of online casinos would like the newly formed Gambling Commission to play a stronger role in the adoption of the Gambling Act.
The survey also stated that 73% of the people who play in virtual casinos want to receive more information from the gambling sites, i.e. to learn from the information stated in the sites if the online casinos are run by a third party service provider. About 30% of the players opposed gambling companies outsourcing their online operations.
81% of the participants in the survey said that the gambling sites should state when money is being paid to affiliates and 44% said that they would be less likely to play at an online casino where the money is shared with affiliates.
