It was reported last night on one of Americas largest Television Networks that Hillary Clinton was the winner of the Pennsylvania Primary. This was a do or die situation for the Clinton campaign. This has been a hard fought campaign between the Democratic top runners, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama with both candidates slinging mud at their opponent.
The exact margin of her victory is not known yet, but it has been predicted by some experts that her victory could be in the double digits. The Obama Campaign has spent more then twice what Clinton spent on ads, yet he still came out second. Clinton's Pennsylvania victory gives her supporters in the gambling industry renewed hope.
Some Experts predict that if Clinton can win her parties nomination she has a good chance at winning the presidency come November. Many people in the gambling industry believe that if Clinton wins in November she may reverse the online gambling ban that was signed in 2006 and allow online casinos gamming currently illegal due to the ban with the exception of horse racing inside the USA.
Hillary Clinton has managed to get the financial backing of many of the gambling industries biggest players. It is expected that if she wins she will repay this support by looking favorably to legalizing online gambling in the USA.
The Presidential hopeful has already done studies to see the feasibility in regulating online gambling to ensure it is done fairly. By legalizing online gambling the USA could bring in several billions a year into a struggling economy.
