Harrah's Entertainment Inc. announced that they'll reveal next month whether they decided to sell two riverboat casinos that were damaged by Hurricane Rita or to reopen them in
Lake Charles.
Harrah's central division president, Anthony Sanfilippo, said that they are talking with five companies about selling the riverboats but couldn't reveal the suitors names.
Harrah's decision will be taken by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board on their next meeting on April. Sanfilippo said that Harrah's are hopping to decide within the next 30 days whether to accept the companies proposal to purchase the riverboat casinos or to declare their intent to rebuild them in Lake Charles.
