The District Attorney for Outagamie County is outraged at accusations that she has ignored a 2 year old gambling probe because a family member of her may have been involved.
To put a stop to the false rumors she has decided to file the case within the next 30 days. She said to prove she has nothing to hide when she files the case she will attach all information dealing with the case to prove she has not been trying to hide anything.
The case stems from a 2005 SuperBowl pool from the Legacy Supper Club in
Grand Chute Wisconsin.
The case was investigated for half a year by agents from the State Justice Department, then the case was turned over to the District Attorney for prosecution.
The case sat there in the DA?s office, which is what fuelled the rumors that the DA was trying to protect a relative that must have been participating in the Super Bowl pool.
When asked she said that she was more interested in focusing on Homicides and Felonies and not misdemeanor Gambling Charges, she also said that the rumors against her were false and malicious lies, and that she hoped that they stopped after she finally files the case.
