Stand Up for Clark County Citizens chairwoman claims she was threatened by Cowlitz tribes leader. According to Kamie Biehl, David Barnett threatened he would embarrass her family in public if she continues to run the campaign against the tribe La Center planned casino.

Kamie Biehl, 41, resigned from the organization after she received the alleged threats from Barnett. Barnett denies Biehl allegations. According to the statement she filed in court, Barnett threatened to publicize embarrassing flyers about her and her 15 years old son.

Biehl recorded part of the conversation on tape. Barnett said he was not asked for his approval to record the conversation, which is a violation of state law. According to Barnett attorney, Barnett and Biehl have been speaking on the phone many times before, but he cannot approve that Barnett made this certain conversation.
