Biloxi Reopened Casinos Earning Big Time.
The three casinos that reopened after hurricane Katrina earned about 62 million dollars in January.

The three reopened Biloxi casinos had actually earned a bigger amount of money than what was reported on Biloxi website. According to Larry Gregory, the executive director of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, Biloxi casinos earned about 62 million dollars last January, while the Biloxi website it reported on 51 million dollars profit.

Gregory said he was encouraged by the figures. The three casinos the IP, the Isle of Capri and the Palace are the first of Biloxi casinos to reopen after hurricane Katrina. He also said that the total gambling revenue made by those three casinos is 69 percent higher the nine Biloxi casinos revenue in 2004 January.

The three renovated Biloxi casinos earned 23 dollars million last January. The three of them together hold about 3,600 slot machines and 118 table games. Apparently, Biloxi report did not the 10.8 million dollars revenue from table games.
