The chips used in casino games are about to enter the world of high technology. According to John M. Kendall, the owner of Chipco International and Sensynet, his company is currently developing a product that processes the radio signals coming from the chips.

Chipco International and Sensynet develop and produce radio frequency identification chips. With this new technology, the casinos will be able to monitor the table games happenings as they occur. In addition, it will secure the casino chips from being stolen or fake.

The high-tech chips are already in use in Southeast Asia casinos, and Kendall expects them to be in use in USA casino in few years. Electronic chips were used in casinos before, but Kendall claims that with this new technology they can be more affordable.
