Learn to Play Let it Ride
Let it ride is one of the most popular poker variations and it can be found in many online and land based casinos. The game object is to create a pair of tens or better out of the three players card and the two dealers cards. Unlike in most poker versions, in let it ride the players are competing against the house and not against each other. The payouts in let it ride are calculated according to a fixed set of odds plus the amount of bets collected during the betting round.
Each of the let it ride players are dealt three cards. The dealer deals himself two face down cards. The winner in let it ride is the player who had managed to create the highest ranked hand from his three dealt cards and the two community cards.
The game of let it ride begins with each player places three equal ante before the cards are dealt. After the dealer deals the cards, the players can look at their cards and decide to remove one ante from the pot. When the dealer reveals one of his cards, the players can decide to remove a second ante.
After the dealer shows his second card, he collects an ante from the remaining players whose hands are qualified, which means have a pair of tens or better. The other players are paid out according to their remaining ante.
The payout system in let it ride is determined according to a set of odds. A player who has a pair of tens or better will be paid an even match of his ante, if he has any two pairs he will be paid 2:1 and so on. The highest let it ride hand is royal flush, which pays 1,000:1.
