Baccarat Strategy

There is little that you can do in baccarat help hedge the bets you make.  There are only just 3 bets that you can make at any point in time. You will be betting on the banker, the player or the tie.  However, if you want to win you must use the brains you were given.

The tie bet is the worse of all with a giant house edge.  The chances of the tie winning are also rare and practical wisdom suggests you to risk very rare tie bets. Essentially tie bets are risky.

There is an argument about the banker bet being better than that of the player bet. This is indeed a fallacy; but the house edge for the banker is lower than the house edge for the player.

The low house edge factor is hyped and many of them tend to favor the banker bet.  The tie bet is rare though, that is not the case with the banker and the player bets; however, the chances for the banker or the player winning are equal.  It makes no sense to bet on the banker all the time even when you see it lose! Space your bets between the banker and the player in equal mix.

Another hint would be to play in those baccarat games that has the lower number of decks. Again, higher number of decks means statistically more risk.  However, higher risk taking can equal better money making.  It depends on the risk level you are willing to take.
