Three card poker is a strategy game that requires concentration and focus.  It’s also, certainly, a very entertaining game and one that almost anyone can enjoy.  Three card poker is actually two games wrapped up into one.  It includes both a “Pair Plus” section and an “Ante and Play” section.  When you play the Pair Plus part of three card poker, you are only competing against yourself.  Your job is to get your best card hand, regardless of anyone else.  With Ante and Play, however, things are quite different.  At three card poker, the payout is based on what you wager.  A pair will pay out even money, while a flush pays out four to one and a straight flush pays out 40 to 1.

The second part of the three card poker game is the Ante and Play part.  In this part, you play against the dealer.  When you begin, you make a bet and then you receive three face-up cards.  The dealer gets three face-down cards and you have to decide whether you are going to keep playing three card poker or fold this round.  If you continue playing, then you place a play bet that is equal to your ante bet.  Next, the dealer shows his hand and the two of you compare your three card poker hands.  You have to hope, here, that the dealer doesn’t have a queen or higher. If this is the case, then you’ve won this part of the three card poker game.

Three card poker is certainly more challenging than some other online games.  This, however, is one of the things that make it so much fun.
