The object of baccarat is to bet on who will get a hand closest to 9. you can also bet on a tie between the player and the banker, and if you win you win a 9 to 1 payoff. A tie is very rare which is why the payout is so high.
The best tip I can give you for playing baccarat is do not bother betting on the tie, and the safe bet is on the banker. The banker has the house edge which makes him the better bet. Because of this the house takes a 5% rake from all winnings from bets made on the bank.
The only other tip I have for baccarat in an online casino or a land based casino is just use some common sense. Set a time limit and a cash limit, when one of them is reached go home or go for a walk but get away from the table. Sometimes the difference between a losing streak and a winning streak is a 5 minute tip to the rest room. Always try to keep in mind that gambling is supposed to be fun, and when it is no longer fun you should also walk away.
